Solving Radical Equations

 

1. Rearrange the equation, isolate the radical each side of the equation.

2. Raise to the power of the radical each side of the equation.

3. Combine like terms.

4. If the equation still has radicals with variables, repeat steps 1 to 3.

5. Solve the equation for the variable.

6. Check slutions (some may be false on square roots)
